Everyone knows Scotty T the persona. Loud, larger than life, the version you get on your telly. This shoot was about finding the version underneath that, the one who's comfortable in a chippy queue and looks just as at home on a Black Garter sofa as he does anywhere else. Elevated, but never out of character.

Meg McWilliam and Meg Jepson (the iconic duo, henceforth known as Meg squared) sent over their styling ideas and photography treatment, and I built on that with a collage of my own, pulling in references that felt true to Scotty without dressing him as someone he's not. Think tracksuits with proper tailoring energy, brightly coloured Stone Island jackets doing the heavy lifting, and old school polos keeping the whole thing grounded rather than costume-y.

We shot it around Newcastle, proper local spots, Grainger Market, a chippy, and the Black Garter. Real locations for a real side of someone the cameras don't usually catch off duty. Working class northern creatives making something we're properly proud of, and having far too much fun doing it.
