A proper multi-hat project this one, working across model booking, styling, and photography for Size? and their in-house brand, Homegrown. The brief was Newcastle's skate scene, not a polished, sanitised version of it, the actual pulse and energy of it, captured in motion rather than posed.

I worked alongside Clara-Jane Whitley on editing and graphics, and Phoebe Johnson on photography and editing, and between us we chased that raw, unfiltered feel that skate culture has naturally, the kind you can't really fake if you've never spent time in it. Styling-wise, the job was to complement the clothing rather than compete with it, street style that nods to the skate aesthetic without smothering the garments themselves, letting Homegrown's designs stay the focus while everything else built the world around them.

Movement was the whole point. Every shot was built around models actually doing something, not just standing there looking good in the kit, because skate culture isn't static and the photography needed to say that before the styling even got a look in.
